Quality Council of India (QCI) has been established as an autonomous non-profit organization to establish the National Accreditation Structure, jointly by the Government of India and the Indian Industry represented by the three premier industry associations, Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
National Registration Board for Personnel and Training (NRBPT), one of the Boards functioning under QCI, offers registration to the professionals in the relevant areas i.e. Quality Environment, Food Safety, Occupational Health etc. It also offers registration to the Training Course/programme Providers who offer training course/programmes for the Quality Management Systems, Environment Management Systems and Occupational Health and Safety Auditors namely Lead Auditor Training Course/programmes and Internal Auditor Training Course/programmes.
NRBPT is a member of International Personnel Certification Association (IPC), an international association of similar national bodies worldwide.
NRBPT is now offering its scheme for registration of Executive Post Graduate Course/programme in Management being conducted by various Organizations/ Institutions in India with the following objectives:

to streamline and standardize the course/programme being conducted throughout India. |

to bring uniformity in syllabus/course/programme contents and admission procedures. |

to bring uniformity in teaching system and facilities provided by the course/programme providing Organizations/Institutions. |

to bring uniformity in system of evaluation, examinations, grading of students, re-examinations. |

to bring systemic approach in the administration of Course/programme by the course/programme providing Organizations/Institutions. |
| vi) |
to bring systematic procedures for maintaining records relating to the Course/programme by the course/programme providing Organizations/Institutions. |
