Criteria for Registration of Certificate/Diploma Course in Export Management
1) Introduction
 

Quality Council of India (QCI) has been established as an autonomous non-profit organisation to establish the National Accreditation Structure, jointly by the Government of India and the Indian Industry represented by the three premier industry associations, Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

National Registration Board for Personnel and Training (NRBPT), one of the Boards functioning under QCI, offers registration to the professionals in the relevant areas i.e. Quality Environment, Food Safety, Occupational Health etc. It also offers registration to the Training Course Providers who offer training courses for the Quality Management Systems, Environment Management Systems and Occupational Health and Safety Auditors namely Lead Auditor Training Courses and Internal Auditor Training Courses.

NRBPT is a member of International Personnel Certification Association (IPC), an international association of similar national bodies worldwide.

NRBPT is now offering its scheme for registration of Certificate/Diploma Course in Export Management being conducted by various Organisations/ Institutions in India with the following objectives:

i) to streamline and standardize the course being conducted throughout India.
ii) to bring uniformity in syllabus/course contents and admission procedures.
iii) to bring uniformity in teaching system and facilities provided by the course providing Organisations/Institutions.
iv) to bring uniformity in system of evaluation, examinations, grading of students, re-examinations.
v) to bring systemic approach in the administration of Course by the course providing Organisations/Institutions.
vi) to bring systematic procedures for maintaining records relating to the Course by the course providing Organisations/Institutions.
  The criteria for registration of the Certificate/Diploma course in Export Management is given hereunder:
 
1.1 General.
 
1.1.1 The primary focus of the Certificate/Diploma Course in Export Management shall be to provide students a thorough knowledge of the various facets of international business and to keep them abreast with the new developments, rapid changes in international business practices and innovative marketing strategies and to develop them to be good export executives/entrepreneurs.
1.1.2 The organisation/Institution providing the course shall
 
a) Present an overall perspective on the international business environment and economic relations.
b) Impart systematic knowledge in the modern techniques of export marketing
c) Develop analytical skills for identifying export opportunities and undertaking export marketing in countries offering export potential for wide ranging products of Indian origin, and
d) Enhance the managerial competence and operational efficiency in the field of international marketing
