"AUDITING" is one of the most crucial elements of a Quality System. It gives an opportunity to the organization to assess its performance vis a vis the laid down systems standard and identify areas to further improve the existing systems.

Educational qualifications and experience is very necessary for a person to become a competent Auditor. Besides these a strict code of conduct helps in establishing respect for the registration.

National Registration Board for Personnel and Training is offering the scheme for registration of EMS Auditors. This scheme has been prepared based on IPC (International Personnel Certification Association) criteria so as to bring it in uniformity with the global requirements.

In some countries, the process for verifying the qualifications and experience of auditors to specified criteria and granting recognition by the auditor registration body registration body is called "Registration or Certification or Registration". This document refers to such processes as Registration of Auditors.

NRBPT reserves all rights to amend its EMS auditor registration criteria, procedures, fees etc. as appropriate.

Registration under this scheme is available without restriction to all applicants who satisfy the registration requirements.
